How to read the result
- Bank and branch — as recorded in the source dataset, not normalised or guessed.
- Address — reproduced from the dataset. Formatting may differ from the bank's website.
- NEFT / RTGS / IMPS / UPI — flags from the dataset. “Not listed” means the flag is absent, not necessarily unsupported.
- MICR and SWIFT — shown when the source provides them.
IFSC structure
An IFSC is 11 characters: four letters for the bank, a literal 0 in position five, and six letters or digits identifying the branch. The fifth character is always zero, which is why HDFC1000001 is invalid even though its length is right.
